DLP Works has released new aerial photos offering a behind-the-scenes look at construction projects at Walt Disney Studios Park. The photos show the progress made on the construction of Lake Promenade and Frozen Land, two areas that will transform the park in the coming years.
One of the most striking images is the main stage for the Alice in Wonderland show. The stage is now clearly visible from the air and gives an idea of the scale and splendour of the show that will take place there.

Frozen Land also features significant developments. The marina and restaurant are already at an advanced stage of construction, while the roof of the show building is still open to facilitate installation of the inside.

The photos also show the progress of construction works along the boardwalk, as well as the East Pavilion. Clearly, all construction projects are in full swing and the opening of Lake Promenade and Frozen Land is getting closer and closer.
An additional detail seen in the photos is the filling of the Walt Disney Studios lake. Water services started filling the lake about 15 days ago, which will be a long procedure because of the huge amount of water needed.
Expansion plans
The Walt Disney Studios Park is currently building a new enchanted land and transition zone. For instance, Lake Promenade will serve as a transition zone to the future enchanted areas around the lake, with an outdoor family attraction and an atmospheric restaurant. At the same time, a new Frozen zone is under construction, where visitors will be able to admire Elsa's majestic ice castle, enjoy an immersive attraction, and take part in a royal meet-and-greet, among other things.
