The 3-star Disney Hotel Cheyenne opened its doors on April 12, 1992. Located along the Rio Grande River, the hotel was designed by architect Robert Stern and transports guests to a fictional town. The main building houses the reception desk, restaurant, bar and other facilities. Rooms are located in separate buildings, each named after famous people from the Wild West.
In 2016 and 2017, the then 2-star hotel underwent a complete renovation, after which it received an additional star.
