Rivers of the Far West gets new scenes at Disneyland Park

Fans of the rustic Frontierland® in Disneyland® Park can look forward to an atmospheric upgrade of the iconic Rivers of the Far West.

When the large-scale renovation of the Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster Once that is complete, it will be the turn of the iconic Rivers of the Far West to undergo a transformation. In addition to the thorough maintenance of the landscapes and animal figures that line the riverbanks, new scenes inspired by the original drawings of Imagineer and Disney Legend Marc Davis, such as a buffalo on a prairie and deer drinking from the waterfall, will be added along the route.

You will be able to catch a glimpse of them during the relaxing cruise aboard the iconic Molly Brown boat, which is also being renovated from stem to stern. To add detail and make this universe even richer and more authentic, the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Design & Delivery have found authentic props typical of the American West in the 19th century!
