Disneyland® Paris has opened a new, elegant indoor venue for Meet & Greets with Disney Characters. The new gazebo, located between the Liberty Arcade and Central Plaza, was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the Victorian style of Main Street, U.S.A.®. The structure is made of a weather-resistant resin that resembles steel and the decor can be customised by the Entertainment teams.
Paying homage to Victorian-era music domes, the gazebo features a Victorian chandelier and stars as a subtle Disney touch. The green-grey colour refers to the Statue of Liberty, matching the nearby Liberty Arcade.
According to architect Stéphane Poulain of Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, the goal is for guests to feel that the gazebo has always been part of Main Street, U.S.A.®. Outside Meet 'n' Greet hours, guests can also take photos in the sophisticated setting, which may also be used for other entertainment in the future.
Meanwhile, The construction of a covered terrace at Casey's Corner, which will provide a sheltered seating area in the same style from spring 2025. Work will take place mainly at night to minimise inconvenience. More information on the opening will follow soon.
