Future plans Studio 1
Based on recent rumors on the French website Outsidears.fr, it appears that the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris will undergo significant changes in the coming years, particularly around Studio 1 and the Theater District. Although not yet officially confirmed by Disney, the leaked information offers a detailed insight into the possible future plans.
Rumor suggests that Studio 1, the iconic filmmaking area in the park, would undergo a major transformation as part of the broader rehabilitation and expansion plan. The En Coulisse restaurant, which currently takes guests behind the scenes of movie sets, would be transformed into an XXL garden party for a Grand Cinema Premiere. This would mean that the format of Studio 1 would change. Instead of a behind-the-scenes look, it would give guests a taste of the glitz and glamour of the world in front of the cameras.
According to the leaked information, the false facades to the restaurant would be removed and make way for three fictitious trees surrounded by tables. This would increase the capacity of the establishment to 530 people. Guests would be able to dine there under a night sky, and pergola-like structures would be placed above the ordering area to emphasize the garden party theme.
After dining, guests will have the opportunity to enter one of the Walt Disney Company's iconic cinemas through a false facade, immersing them in the world of Disney films.
Studio 1 would close for one year, from April 5, 2024, to April 25, 2025, due to renovations planned from November 2023 to May 2025. The Theater District would be developed in several phases during this period.

Expansion of Production Courtyard and Toon Studio
In addition to Studio 1 and the Theater District, two other enchanted lands, Production Courtyard and Toon Studio, also appear to be undergoing a makeover. According to rumors, the area would be transformed into a Theater Zone, with plans to restore the current paved floors and minimal vegetation. People would also take advantage of the transformation, scheduled from November 2023 to May 2025, to improve the attractions and shows in those areas.
Official confirmation by Disney
While the information on Outsidears.fr seems detailed, it is important to note that Disney has not yet given official confirmation on these plans. However, the Walt Disney Studios Park does confirm that renovations will take place beginning in October 2023, which means Studio 1 will close from late April 2024 through spring 2025. During the renovations, other attractions and shows in the park will remain open, and visitors are advised to check current information via the official Disneyland Paris app.
Over the next few months, it will become clear whether these rumors are true and what the future of Studio 1 and the Theater District looks like.
