Disneyland Paris is taking another step in improving the guest experience by introducing virtual queues for popular Meet-and-Greets with Disney Characters. From 18 April 2025, visitors will be able to book a time slot via the official Disneyland Paris app to meet their favourite characters, making traditional, sometimes long queues a thing of the past.
This innovative approach follows the success of the virtual queuing system already in use at the Hero Training Center at Avengers Campus in the Walt Disney Studios Park. Now this convenient and time-saving method is being extended to several indoor locations in both parks, leaving guests with more time to enjoy everything else Disneyland Paris has to offer.
Virtual queue
The premiere of this new system is set to meet the mischievous Stitch at Videopolis, as part of the Disney Music Festival. But the rollout of the virtual queues does not stop here. More Disney Figures will follow in the coming weeks, including Mickey Mouse at Meet Mickey Mouse, Olaf at Animation Celebration, the Disney Princesses in the Princess Pavilion and Star Wars Figures in Starport.

How does it work?
The process is designed to be as simple and intuitive as possible. Visitors need to download the official Disneyland Paris app and link their admission ticket, annual pass or hotel package to their account. Once they enter the park and their ticket is scanned, they can use the app to reserve an available time slot for the desired Meet-and-Greet, for a group of up to six people. The app then keeps guests informed and sends a notification when their reserved time slot approaches, so they can make their way to the venue in time for their magical encounter with minimal waiting time.
There are some important aspects for guests to consider. Visitors with a 1-park ticket can only make their reservations for Meet-and-Greets in the park they have access to that day. Guests with a 2-park ticket have the flexibility to make reservations in both parks once their ticket is scanned. For those without smartphones, Disneyland Paris offers an alternative solution: assistance can be requested from a Cast Member at the relevant Meet-and-Greet location, subject to availability.
Limitations
To ensure that as many visitors as possible get the chance to meet their favourite characters, some limits have been put in place. Guests can make up to five virtual queue reservations per day, but only one at a time. A new reservation can only be made after the current one has been completed or cancelled. In addition, it is not possible to meet the same character more than once a day. Children under three do not need to make a separate reservation; all other guests require a reservation via the app. It is important to note that physical queues for these particular Meet-and-Greets will no longer be available, including for guests with disabilities. They should also use the virtual queuing system via the app.
