Disneyland Paris has announced new details about the new The Lion King attraction that will open at the future Disney Adventure World. It was already announced during the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in August 2024 that a completely new immersive world will be built around the beloved Disney animated film The Lion King - a first for a Disney park worldwide, given the film's popularity, especially in Europe.
The construction of this new world, which is in addition to World of Frozen will rise, is scheduled to begin in autumn 2025. When the sun rises over this new themed area following the opening of World of Frozen, a brand new attraction will take guests to the heart of the Pride Lands. This spectacular water attraction combines a unique water experience with cutting-edge Audio-Animatronics® technology. Simba himself will welcome visitors for an unforgettable adventure, complete with the iconic songs from the masterful 1994 film.

After guests visited the caves under the 37-metre-high Pride Rock have entered, an amazing and sensational journey begins through recognisable scenes and sets from the beloved animated film. The adventure trail features three thrilling descents, including an impressive descent as high as 16 metres. Thanks to a seamless integration of many Audio-Animatronics® characters in a detailed environment, brought to life with state-of-the-art special effects and an unforgettable soundtrack, this attraction promises to be one of the greatest at Disneyland Paris!
