Disneyland Paris enters new era with Disney Adventure World

Disneyland Paris celebrates its 32nd anniversary today with a spectacular announcement: the name change from Walt Disney Studios Park to Disney Adventure World! This new name marks a new era for the park, with a fresh creative vision, brand new experiences, a massive expansion and a whole new visual identity.

The name change to Disney Adventure World reflects the transformation the park has undergone in recent years and will continue in the years ahead. The focus is now on creating immersive themed lands based on beloved Disney franchises, where guests can adventure in the worlds of their favorite stories.

"Today, we are changing the story of Walt Disney Studios Park from ‘how it's made’ to festive theaters and adventures that come to life in immersive worlds. These fully realized adventure worlds become the focus of the Park's new identity and reappear as themed lands that guests discover as they explore further in the Park and are invited to participate in adventures inspired by the most beloved stories."

Transformation

The transformation of Disney Adventure World is already in full swing. The opening of Marvel Avengers Campus in 2022 was a major milestone, and more new theme areas will open in the coming years, including Adventure Bay and World of Frozen, which will most likely open its doors in 2025.

In addition to the new themed areas, Disney Adventure World will also feature several new attractions, shows and restaurants. The park will be completely transformed into a unique and unforgettable destination for all Disney fans.

Disney Village and Disney Davy Crockett Ranch

Besides the parks, Disney Village is also undergoing a major overhaul. The entertainment area will get a new, modern look and feel with a focus on contemporary trends and guest experience. There will be new shops and entertainment options, providing a completely new atmosphere.

Disney Hotels are not being left behind either. The popular Disney Davy Crockett Ranch will get new log cabins from 2024 with a theme based on the popular Junior Woodchucks comics from the Donald Duck stories. The new log cabins will be more comfortable and modern, while retaining the unique charm of the ranch theme.

The transformation of Disney Adventure World, the revamp of Disney Village and the renovation of the Disney Hotels are all part of a massive plan to completely transform Disneyland Paris and make it even more attractive to guests of all ages.
