From 3 April, Wish will be available to stream on Disney+. This original musical comedy takes you to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force: a small ball of boundless energy called Star.
An exciting journey
Together with Star, Asha confronts King Magnifico, the ruler of Rosas, who threatens their community. Asha wants to prove that wonderful things can happen when one person's courage unites with the magic of the stars.
Cast
The original version of Wish features the voices of well-known actors, including Academy Award® winner Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha's favourite goat, Valentino.
Direction
The film is directed by Oscar® winner Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn and produced by Peter Del Vecho and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones. The screenplay is written by Jennifer Lee and Allison Moore, the original songs are by Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice, and the original score is composed by Dave Metzger.
